Aishwarya Rai: "He Is Just Magical & Very Straightforward" About THIS Person Of Buzzing Ponniyin Selvan 2!
One of the most-awaited films of the country right now, Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan2,' is ringing bells down south. The movie stars an ensemble cast in the form of Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vikram, Parthiban, and R Sarathkumar among others in crucial roles.
Speaking about Nandini, Aish said, "The character will remain very very special. I can't wait to watch Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan 2 along with the audience. I am really looking forward."
From all the roles I did with Mani Sir from Iruvaru, Raavan, Guru, to Ponniyin Selvan, it was a great learning experience. They are such strong women characters and I'm an ever-willing and grateful student of him, shared the actress.
When asked about What she likes about Nandini the most? Her reply was, "That's there for viewing. Everybody can see. so many have been taken in by and so rightfully impressed by the character. As an artist, it is natural for me to say yes to this character, and then under the direction of Mani garu, it was no brainer, it was obviously yes."
Elaborating further, Aishwarya said, "She is a very intense character and all her complexities came from her experiences her life. It gives very strong reason for her conviction from where she is coming. To go ahead and essay that character is obviously as woman's woman was very interesting experience."
Answering to a question-Which another character she likes the most apart from hers, she said, "It is an unfair question. Because that's the beauty of PS. There are many characters in the movie and each one is interesting and layered, got so much going. Sorry, I can't select one. I'm just not an artist in the movie, but I really enjoyed watching it and making it. I'm grateful to be Nandini no doubt."
