At the end of the movie, State General Secretary A.S. Umar Farooq said, "Farhana movie has no controversial scenes or scandals.

He also said that the life of a woman with a simple background has only been portrayed in a realistic manner. He also expressed his gratitude to the director Mr. Nelson who put an end to the controversies by screening early to avoid unnecessary problems with a sense of social responsibility.

As there was a lot of criticism, the director of the film, Nelson Venkatesan, explained that the film was not made against Islam or in a way that could be propagated.
