Aishwarya Rajinikanth Robbery Case Update - Maid Arrested: Here's How She Did It!

A woman who worked at the house of director Aishwarya Rajinikanth has been arrested in connection with the mysterious jewels theft case.

Aishwarya, the elder daughter of actor Rajinikanth, filed a complaint at the Teynampet police station yesterday. She said, "I am currently staying at my father Rajinikanth's house in Poes Gardens. As my younger sister got married in 2019, since that day I have been keeping my jewelery in a locker and maintaining it separately. Around 60 pounds of gold and diamond jewelery along with traditional jewelery was there in the locker.

Meanwhile, till 2021, the locker was kept alternately in the house at St. Mary's Road, Alwarpet. Then at my husband's house in CIT Nagar and then we moved it to Poes Gardens. Whereas when I was at home in a flat in St Mary's Road I kept the locker key in the cupboard. This is known to the housemaids Eshwari, Lakshmi and car driver Venkat who work in my house.

They visited even when I was not at home. Meanwhile, when the locker was opened on the 10th of last month, there were only a few jewels in it. Many valuable and traditional jewels are missing. In this regard, I have doubts about the 3 people working in my house. The police department should conduct an investigation and recover my jewellery."

Following this, the police registered a case and interrogated the maids and the car driver based on the photographs provided by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. It was revealed that the maid Eshwari had been stealing jewelery little by little for the past 4 years. A total of 20 pounds worth of jewelery has been recovered so far, according to the police. It has been reported that a more intensive investigation has been conducted in this regard and the recovery of the rest of the jewelery is underway.
