AK 62: Is Kajal Aggarwal In Consideration For Ajith's Much-Anticipated Film With Magizh Thirumeni? Read On!

According to the latest update, the makers of the film are in talks with actress Kajal Aggarwal for an important female lead role in AK 62. The movie is said to have two heroines.

Ajith, after the massive outing for Pongal with 'Thunivu', is now going to begin work on his upcoming film with director Magizh Thirumeni. Dubbed AK 62, the yet-to-be-titled movie was announced after Ajith and director Vignesh Shivan had a fallout on a proposed project.

AK 62 was then announced with director Thirumeni, marking the actor-director's collaboration for the first time. Thirumeni had earlier directed films like Thadaiyara Thaakka, a sleeper hit, Kalaga Thalaivan, Thadam, and Meaghamann. He also appeared in a small role in the film titled 'Teddy' starring Arya and Sayyesha. He debuted as a director with the movie titled Mundhinam Paarththaenae featuring all newcomers.

As soon as the update of AK 62 was out, fans of Thala Ajith were happy and are looking forward to the movie. Magizh Thirumeni hasn't directed a superstar as yet and all his films performed between average and fairly well at the box office. Ajith's fans are also expecting the movie to be grosser at the box office since Thunivu had missed that punch to satisfy them.

The movie is said to have two heroines and for one of the roles, Kajal is in consideration. Kajal will be seen as the heroine during the flashback episode and as a teacher, according to the rumours.

If the buzz turns out to be true, Kajal will share the screen space with Ajith for the second time after Siva directorial Vivegam. The duo makes for a cute onscreen pair for sure and it would be great to watch them together once again.

Kajal Aggarwal is already shooting for Kamal Haasan and S Shankar's sequel movie Indian 2, which also features actor Siddharth.

The Ajith-Thirumeni movie will start filming for the scenes in March. Actors Arun Vijay and Arulnidhi are also said to be part of the cast but the latest development suggests that they are not.

AK 62 will have Nirav Shah as its cinematographer, marking their collaboration again after a slew of films. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film's soundtrack and tunes Lyca Productions is bankrolling the movie, whose title will be announced very soon.
