Allu Arjun REFUSES To Star In SRK's Jawan, Fans Say 'It's Not Like HIs Cameo Would Affect The Movie But...'

Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah is back in his form with the success of 'Pathaan', directed by Siddharth Anand. Pathaan went on to become one of the highest-grossing films ever made in India and breathed life into the otherwise mundane and dying Bollywood. The veteran is all set to make his south debut with successful director Atlee Kumar's action thriller titled 'Jawan.' The movie, which has been in the production phase for a long time, stars Nayanthara as the female lead.

The movie starring Shah Rukh Khan stars Nayanthara, making her Bollywood debut. In addition, the bilingual features Nation-award winning actress Priyamani, actor Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Astha Agarwal among others portraying the important characters.

Jawan Cameos

The movie, owing to its pan-India release and the scale of production, has roped in several actors to widen the reach and amplify the expectations. As part of it, Atlee brought in the superstar actors like Thalapathy Vijay and Deepika Padukone to feature in cameos. Allu Arjun, the iconic star was also approached for a cameo role, but the actor declined it. Reportedly, Vijay and Deepika Padukone have already filmed for their roles in Jawan in Chennai.

On February 13, we reported that Allu Arjun was approached with Jawan's story and character by director Atlee and the team to rope him for a crucial character. The actor, who is said to have listened to the narration took some time before he could come up with his response.

After two weeks, Allu Arjun replied with a 'No' to Shah Rukh Khan's film due to unavoidable commitments that he had signed earlier. The actor is busy with the much-awaited sequel of 'Pushpa: The Rise,' under the direction of Sukumar Bandreddi.

Fans of both the superstar actors were rather disappointed after the news broke out about Allu Arjun not being part of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. However, they are excited for both their upcoming films. Here are some reactions to the same:

Jawan Release Date
The makers of Jawan are keen to release the movie all over the world on a large scale on June 2, 2023. The movie is being filmed in Tamil and Hindi but will release in five languages- including Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam.
