Ariyavan Twitter Review: Debutant Ishaaon Struggles Hard To Perform; Major Setback For Mithran R Jawahar!

The film is good to watch as a screenplay, mainly because Ariyavan talks about an important issue that is increasing against young women these days. The film talks about important factors like how brave women should be.

Ariyavan

Debutant Ishavon's Ariyavan, directed by director Mithran Jawahar, who has directed Dhanusi's Yaardi Nee Mohini, Kutty, Utthamaputraan and the recent blockbuster Tiruchirambalam, is released worldwide today. Also Daniel Balaji, Pranali Kogare, comedian Sathyan and superstar Subramani are playing important roles in this film. James Vasanthan has composed music for Ariyavan.

Daniel Balaji is the leader of a gang that systematically falls in love with young women, deceives them, takes obscene videos and blackmails them into sex work. The heroine Pranali Kokare's friend also gets caught up in the gang. Then the protagonist Ishaon saves not only that girl but all the girls trapped by the gang from them. Enraged by this, Daniel Balaji plans to take revenge on the hero, and what happens in the end is the story of the movie Nranavan.

Recently in Tamil, there have been many stories about gangs who cheat young women and threaten them. Bhagasooran released two weeks ago with almost the same plot, Ariyavan has also released. The protagonist Ishavon and the heroine Pranali Kogare are both newcomers and struggle a bit to act, but without overdoing it, they seem to fit the roles.

The film gives Daniel Balaji a fresh spin as the villain, especially in one scene at the climax. James Vasanthan's music has done a good job in the background music though the songs are not taken seriously. Vishnu Sri's cinematography was excellent as befits the film.

Although there is nothing new in terms of visuals, the film is good to watch as a screenplay, mainly because Ariyavan talks about an important issue that is increasing against young women these days. The film talks about important factors like how women should be brave and how to come out of a problem. It would have been better if the screenplay had a little more menace in terms of visuals, otherwise Nranawan is a must-watch for young girls and families.
