Azhagiya Kanne Review: Dindigul I Leoni's Son Leo Sivakumar Needs Training In Acting

Azhagiya Kanne

Azhagiya Kanne Review: Azhagiya Kanne starring Leo Sivakumar, the son of Pattimandram speaker Dindigul I Leoni, is all set to hit the screens on June 23. A special media premiere was organized by the makers of the film yesterday.

Azhagiya Kanne is a film directed by debutant director R Vijayakumar and produced by Esthel Entertainer. In this film, Leo Sivakumar is the hero, Sanchitha Shetty is the heroine, director Prabhu Solomon and actor Vijay Sethupathi are acting in a special appearance. NR Raghunandan has composed the music for the film.

Crux Of The Story

Leo Sivakumar from Dindigul district aspires to become a director in cinema. Sanchitha Shetty, a girl from the opposite house, falls in love with him. She conducts stage plays in the town. Leo Sivakumar comes to Chennai to join director Prabhu Solomon as assistant director and Sanchitha also comes to Chennai due to work.

At some point the two get married and a child is born. But while Leo is trying to become a director, due to family circumstances, Sanchitha is unable to keep a close eye on the child. Did Leo become a director as expected? Has Sanchitha's desire for family responsibility been fulfilled? The film Azhagiya Kanne conveys this with thought-provoking scenes.

Leo Needs Acting Training

Leo Sivakumar, Sanchitha and dancer Sujatha have done well in their given characters. But Leo Sivakumar still needs acting training. Similarly, Prabhu Salomon's portrayal of the director's work in the cinema is appreciated. Otherwise none of the characters in the film are big. Vijay Sethupathi acted in one scene.

The predictable screenplay keeps the film from making a big impact. Similarly, the scenes related to the villain, which is shown as an unexpected twist in the story, are also not very impressive. While the songs are catchy with NR Raghunandhan's music, the background score and cinematography also helps the film.
