Recently, one of the lead actors of Baakiyalakshmi, Sathish Kumar stated that he decided to exit the show, without mentioning the reason for his decision. And then reports started surfacing that the makers have finalized new actor for Sathish Kumar's replacement.

Now, Gopi has hit the headlines yet again. He took to his Instagram space and shared an image of himself in which he can be seen in the getup of an old man. Sharing the photo, he wrote in Tamil, "Ready for Baakiyalakshmi's second part." While we do not know if he was really giving his fans an update or if he is only trying to crack a joke, this Instagram post has made fans go gaga.

Sathish to continue as Gopi in Baakiyalakshmi

Weeks after announcing his exit from the show, Sathish posted another update saying that he decided to continue starring in the show. In a post, he mentioned, "Ten days back, I posted a message telling you all that I would be exiting from Baakiyalakshmi. I had a few personal problems and I took the decision when I was emotional. Now, all my personal problems are cleared and I have decided not to exit Baakiyalakshmi."
