Bakasuran Twitter Review: Mohan G Fans Start Celebrating The Most Expected Awareness Film
Twitter is full of Bakasuran Celebration. Mohan G fans are enjoying it as the film gets mixed reviews from general audience and film critics. Comparing to his films, Mohan G evloved a lot interms of film making.

Mohan G is a famous director who has directed movies like Draupathi, Rudra Thandavam and Pazhaya Vannarappettai. Bakasuran is the latest addition to his film line-up. Famous director Selvaraghavan, Natarajan of 'Saturanga Vettai' fame and others have played important roles in the film. Not only Selvaraghavan fans but also among the entire cinema fans, there was a lot of expectation for the film Bakasuran.
Natrajan is a retired army man who posts crime videos on YouTube. His own brother's daughter Ramya suddenly hangs herself. Police closes the case that Ramya committed suicide because everyone in the house forced her to marry. But, Ramya's mobile phone is found in Natarajan's hand. In it, Natrajan comes to know that Ramya was engaged in sex work and someone is threatening her that even if she gets married, she will not be able to escape from this business.
While searching for the identity of the intimidator, Natrajan learns that many women are forced into sex work due to financial constraints. On one hand, Bheemarasu (Selvaragavan) searches for the sex workers and their accomplices. The two stories travel in different directions and merge at one point. What happened then? This is the story.
Before the end of the first half, the sound of many people asking 'when will you leave us for the interval?' is heard.
Selvaraghavan, who played a small role in the film Beast, was next seen with Keerthy Suresh in the film Saani Kaayidham as a crazy murdering man. Selva has almost repeated the same role in this film.
In the first scene, Selvaraghavan, who has thrown someone in a barrage, comes in the next scene with a big viboothi in forehead and a Rudraksha on his neck. Although his performance does not stick in our mind at the beginning, when the film is over, he is the one who stands tall with his brilliant performance. We can see a clear contrast between the cruel Bheemarasu at the time of killing those responsible for his daughter's death and the meek Bheemarasu as a loving father in the flashback.
In the scene where he is troubled by the loss of his daughter and in the scene where he laments to many people that no one should die like his daughter, Selva leaves all the fans hooked.
Sam CS has done a tremendous job in the background score. But, the songs are all about variety and nothing sticks in the mind.
In this digital age many things have changed in the world beyond the cell phone. But, in the movie Bakasuran, they have taken the idea that "all problems are caused by this one" seriously. The film depicts women talking intimately to their boyfriends on video call and even exchanging kisses with the lover as a crime.
As mentioned above, the film had many flaws. The director did not even attempt to cover all that. In every scene, the girls are blamed, and no one says anything about the people posting the videos about them. If the director mentioned the problems of cell phone and talked about the methods to deal with it, he might get appreciated. But it is unacceptable to try to impose the concept of "everything is because of mobile phone" as shown in this film.
All in all, you can watch Bakasuran for Selvaraghavan, there is nothing else to say.
