“Bharathiraja Slapped Me,” Gautham Vasudev Menon REVEALS Intense BTS Moments Of Upcoming Movie

It goes without saying that Gautham Vasudev Menon is one of the most-popular directors of Tamil cinema. He recently forayed into acting and has been receiving positive reviews from fans and critics for his acting skills too. He will be next seen in the movie Karumegangal Kalaigindrana, which is directed by Thangar Bachan, which also stars director Bharathiraja in an important role.

Speaking during the audio launch of the movie, Gautham Vasudev Menon gave the fans some insights about the movie. He also recalled that he once got a chance to act in Thangar Bachan's previous movie, but he had to say no owing to other commitments. He said, "The way he narrated the story of Karumegangal Kalaigindrana was impressive and I could not say no to something like that."
He also said, "There is a scene where Bharathiraja has to slap me. He hesitated to act in the scene. But I told him to go ahead and slap me, and now the scene has come out really well." It is expected that the makers will soon announce the release date of the movie.

Meanwhile, Gautham Menon will also be seen in the upcoming movie, Leo starring Vijay and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Lokesh Kanagraj and it marks the reunion of Vijay and Trisha after years. Speaking of the movie, Gautham Menon said that he was supposed to play a role in Lokesh's previous film Vikram, but he denied the role.

He said, "I did not agree to act in the movie because I was too scared to act alongside a legend like Kamal Haasan. I was too scared to share the screen space with him. But I agreed to act in Leo only for Lokesh." Leo's music is being helmed by Anirudh Ravichander.
