Bigg Boss Star Shivin Opens Up About Her Surgery: Says 'There Will Be No Problem If..'

Shivin, who participated in the Bigg Boss show and made it to the grand finale stage in a recent interview to a YouTube channel, has spoken in detail about the surgery She has done, leaving fans stunned.

Bigg Boss season 5 introduced a transgender contestant for the first time in the show.

While Nameetha Marimuthu came to Bigg Boss and was expected to win the title, she walked out within a week due to some issues. Bigg Boss is doing something new every season. Nameetha Marimuthu participated as a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil for the first time as transgender contestants should also be given a chance to participate in the show. Her sad story left fans in tears.

But despite her hasty exit, Shivin, who participated in Bigg Boss season 6, received public support till the end. Even though Azeem did a bad imitation of Shivin from the beginning, fans supported Shivin who stood alone and fought till the end to overcome all the others. In a recent interview to a media portal, Shivin said "It takes 2 years for transgenders to undergo HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and after that they have to go for counseling to a psychologist and also undergo implants, SRS (sex reassignment surgery) etc. according to their personal choice. Those who want to do so have many guidelines that can be followed. The government has made it possible for some people to undergo free surgeries."

Shivin openly advises transgenders that if they go to safe places and undergo such treatments, there will be no problem.

Soon after the Bigg Boss show, Shivin got busy with store opening ceremonies and TV serials. She has also participated in some reality shows on Vijay TV.
