Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence-starrer latest horror-comedy family drama titled Chandramukhi 2 hit the screens worldwide on September 28. The movie, which is a sequel to the superstar Rajinikanth's epic Chandramukhi, which was released in 2005, was written and directed by P Vasu.

Chandramukhi 2 was released to a decent reception; in Tamil and Telugu. The movie hit the screens alongside Skanda, a film that set high expectations in Tollywood starring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela among a plethora of notable actors. However, Chandramukhi 2 managed to impress the audience.

Chandramukhi 2 depicts the revenge tale of Chandramukhi (Kangana Ranaut), who awakens in the infamous Rajamahal to avenge the death of her lover. She is determined to kill the ruthless Vettaiyar Raja (Raghava Lawrence). The epic tale is set against the backdrop of a family.
