Starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence in the lead roles of Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan, the much-awaited sequel of Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi, Chandramukhi 2 hit the screens worldwide on September 28.

The movie met with a decent response from fans and cinephiles at the box office post its theatrical release. The sequel featured an entirely new cast except for a couple of key characters. The cast included Telugu actors since it is a Tamil and Telugu release.

Despite several low points and not very impressive VFX, CG, and strength in the film's story, the family horror-comedy is managing to enthrall the viewers and attract them to the theatres.
