Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence's latest family comedy-horror drama Chandramukhi 2 hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu on September 28. The movie was released in Tamil and Telugu. Director P Vasu, who helmed the first Tamil Chandramukhi with superstar Rajinikanth directed the sequel.

The movie met with a decent response from fans and cinephiles at the box office post its theatrical release. The sequel featured an entirely new cast except for a couple of key characters. The cast included Telugu actors since it is a Tamil and Telugu release.
