Chandramukhi 2, the latest comedy horror film starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in prominent roles, finally hit the screens to an enthusiastic response from the cinephiles. The movie is a sequel to Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi which was released in 2005. This movie picks up from where the first one ended.

Chandramukhi 2 hit the screens alongside Skanda, a film that set high expectations in Tollywood starring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela among a plethora of notable actors. The movie is set to become Ram Pothineni's biggest hit, given the fact that he collaborated with Boyapati Sreenu.

Chandramukhi 2 depicts the revenge tale of Chandramukhi (Kangana Ranaut), who awakens in the infamous Rajamahal to avenge the death of her lover. She is determined to kill the ruthless Vettaiyar Raja (Raghava Lawrence). The epic tale is set against the backdrop of a family.

The sequel stars Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan and Raja in a dual role. Kangana Ranaut will be seen as Chandramukhi. Vadivelu played the role of Murugesan. In addition, Chandramukhi 2 stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mithun Shyam, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, YG Mahendran, and TM Karthik among others. Late Manobala appeared posthumously in Chandramukhi 2.
