Kavin's film 'Dada' is directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu. Aparna Das, who acted in Beast, is playing the lead opposite Kavin. Harish of 'Muthul Nee Mudivum Nee' fame, Pradeep Antony of 'Vaazh' fame and many others are playing important roles. Produced by S Ambedkumar on behalf of Olympia Movies. Three songs and the teaser of the film were released earlier and grabbed the attention of many.

The film is releasing in theaters worldwide today (February 10, 2023) and is being released by Red Giant Movies in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, Aparna Das has written a beautiful letter to Kavin. She shared it on her official Twitter page as well. This letter from Aparna Das to Kavin is now going viral on social media.
Aparna Das wrote, "I have seen you work so much for the film. Be it any department of the film you were always present. In most of the interviews I have told you are short tempered but here I want to tell you, you have only fought for the right things. I will always be there for you as a good friend for everything you do."
A music and trailer release ceremony was held recently on this occasion. In it Heroine Aparna Das said, "I am emotional as this is my first Tamil film as a heroine. Thanks to my director Ganesh who came to Kerala and narrated the story. He supported me from the time till the completion of the film. It was Kavin who introduced me to the director. Without Kavin, I wouldn't be in this film. This will be my best debut in Tamil cinema," she said.
Actor Kavin said, "We have been planning for 'Dada' for four years. All these years we worked hard to make this film better. Pradeep and Babu we are all friends since college days. His faith in me has brought the film this far. I don't know if the Babu would think of such a mature content. Thanks to Red Giant Movies for agreeing to this film."
