Dada

Directed by debutant director Ganesh K Babu starring Kavin and Aparna Das, the film 'Dada' hit the theaters on February 10. Produced by Olympia Movies, this film was released by Red Giant in Tamil Nadu. The film talked about the socio-economic problems that occur when the lovers who have ended their love and marriage enter into real life, and as an extension of this, the rift that occurs in the relationship.

The film centered on father's affection was celebrated by Kavin fans for its unrelenting screenplay and some emotional moments. It is said that the film, which was made on a budget of Rs 5 crore, crossed the Rs 20 crore mark.

Ayodhi

Sasikumar and Preeti Asrani starrer film 'Ayodhi' was directed by newcomer Manthira Murthy. Produced by Trident Arts, this film was released in theaters on March 3. Emphasizing the need for humanity beyond religion, the film dominated human sentiments.

The film's approach to the sensitive story was seen as a very important film in the contemporary Indian political context. Yathisai

Debut director Vinayak Chandrasekaran has given a beautiful and emotional film based on snoring. The director has moved the screenplay in such a way that the hero's family, unique background for the heroine, beautiful love scenes and normal problems in married life are enjoyable.

Manikandan and Meetha Raghunath acted in the movie which was released in theaters on May 12. The film was composed by Sean Roldan and produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment. The film was a hit due to its strong screenplay.

Ashok Selvan, Sarathkumar, Nikhila Vimal starrer Por Thozhil movie was directed by debutant Vignesh Raja. Released on June 9, the film is made as a crime-thriller genre film. Starting with police officers hunting down a serial killer, the film is entertaining with its varied layers.
