Did Nayanthara Decide Not To Work With THIS Tamil Superstar Hereafter? Here's What We Know!
For the unversed, Vignesh Shivan had pitched a story to Ajith, and the movie was also officially announced. However, citing some creative differences, it was put on hold as the actor took a U-turn on Vignesh.
Given the recent outcome of Thala Ajith's upcoming film referred to as AK 62, the south-Indian superstar actress Nayanthara is rumoured to have decided to not work with the actor anymore. Although these are just rumours, the Kollywood circle is abuzz with the discussion around AK 62, which was supposed to be directed by the actress' husband, Vignesh Shivan.
For the unversed, Vignesh Shivan had pitched a story to Ajith, and the movie was also officially announced. However, citing some creative differences, it was put on hold as the actor took a U-turn on Vignesh and announced AK 62 with another director. Speculations are rife that Vishnuvardhan, who helmed two films with Ajith before, or Magizh Thirumeni could take up the megaphone for AK 62.
There were rumours that Ajith had asked Vignesh to rework on certain portions of the script which did not go down well with the talented director. On the other hand, according to a news report in TOI, sources claimed that Ajith is keen on having a Diwali release in 2023, and Vignesh's project, which requires a lot of time might not be able to get ready for Diwali. In light of these situations, reports suggest that Nayanthara decided not to work with Ajith again, allegedly.
Ajith and Nayanthara first came together as the lead pair for Vishnuvardhan directorial Billa in 2007. The actress sizzled in a two piece swimsuit for the first time, making heads turn. Later, in 2008, they were seen in the Tamil remake of Hindi film Main Hoon Naa starring Shah Rukh Khan, titled 'Aegan', directed by choreographer-turned-director Raju Sundaram.
In 2013, Ajith and Nayanthara starred in another Vishnuvardhan directorial titled Arrambam. The movie stars an ensemble cast including Arya, Taapsee Pannu, Rana Daggubati among others. The duo's last collaboration was director Siva's successful film Viswasam, released in 2019.
