In a recent interview, director Lenin Bharathi said that Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions is producing his next film. He also said that the film will be based on the life of common people. When he was asked about the controversial movie The Kerala Story, he said, "I have not seen that film. They advertised that the film was based on true events. But they released the film claiming that it was a fictional story in the court. So, I lost my interest to watch the film.

'I Am Allergic To Such Films'

Also, the historical fictional films like Yathisai and Ponniyin Selvan have come out recently, and I am allergic to films of the King era. I will never watch them and I don't have time to watch those films."

Recently, a bill to change the working hours of workers in private companies from 8 hours to 12 hours was presented in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. It is important to note that director Lenin Bharathi has opposed this bill. In this regard, he posted on Twitter, "Is this the government for the welfare of the workers? Tamilnadu government should drop the anti-worker bill."
