After a debacle in the form of Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Liger, Puri Jagannadh is trying to cast a hero for his next. In all likeliness, the duo might come together. Speaking about his role in Thalapathy Vijay's Master, Shanthanu said, "I was initially told that my role would appear on screen for about 40 minutes, which includes a fight scene. However, by the end of the final cut, I was only there for footage of about 12 minutes." He regretted talking to the media about his role and its importance in the film. "With whatever I was told, I shared it with media, my friends, and family. They awaited my performance on the screen.
