Ethirneechal G Marimuthu's Death: Actor Never Moved Into His Hard-Earned Dream House Built After 27 Years

G Marimuthu aka Ethirneechal Marimuthu died of a sudden cardiac arrest in Chennai on September 8. Condolences have been pouring in from the entire industry and fans.

Marimuthu's Dream House

Marimuthu had built a dream house after 27 years of his marriage in Chennai. However, the actor-filmmaker died without moving into it.

Speaking in an interview on a YouTube channel, Marimuthu was quoted saying, "In 27 years of our marriage, we lived in only rental properties. Now, I finally bought my own house, a dream house. To own a house is a dream to many and for people who move to Chennai from nearby places, it is very special. My dream had come true. I bought a big, own dream house.

The house is in the Manapakkam area. Me and my wife named the house after our pet Malar. We are going to call the house Malar."

Marimuthu, as reported by Hindustan Times, mentioned, "I always look at the house's plan and suggest necessary changes accordingly. I made every bit of it according to personal taste."

However, in a sad turn of events, Marimuthu died suddenly of a heart attack while dubbing for his role in the Ethirneechal television show for Sun TV, on September 8.

He never moved into it and lived there in his dream house. This fact aggravated the depth of his physical loss to his family, relatives, and friends.

Marimuthu hails from Theni and ran away to Chennai in 1990 to enter the film industry. He worked odd jobs before meeting Lyricist Vairamuthu and becoming an acquaintance. He then joined director Rajkiran as an assistant for his films Aranmanai Kili and Ellame En Rasathan. He continued to work as an AD to Mani Ratnam, Vasanth, Seeman, and SJ Surya before becoming a co-director with Simbu's Manmadhan.

He finally made his directorial debut with Kannum Kannum (2008) starring Prasanna and Udhayathara. He also directed Pulivaal. He was last seen in the role of Panneer, Varman's aide who works for the Police, in Jailer.
