Farhana Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Farhana movie is said to be made on an overall budget of Rs. 7 crores including promotions. The film which is released today is predicted to collect Rs. 0.45 crores at the box office on its day one.
Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, the film also stars Selvaraghavan, Aishwarya Dutta, Jithan Ramesh in lead roles. Music composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
No Ban For Farhana
While there is a controversy that the film 'The Kerala Story' is against Islam, this film is said to be the same. Therefore, Tamil Nadu political parties and organizations insisted that this film should also be banned. However, the film crew issued a statement saying that it was a wrong precedent to demand a ban on the film before its release. In this case, Farhana film which has hit the screens today has received mixed reviews.
Crux Of The Story
Farhana (Aishwarya Rajesh), a girl from a middle-class Muslim family of Chennai Icehouse decides to go to work as her husband Karim (Jithan Ramesh) runs a sandal shop which is not working.
Accordingly, Farhana's family economic situation is improving after she joined a call center. Meanwhile, forced to undergo an immediate operation on her baby, Farhana needs more money, so she agrees to work in another department that pays 3 times more and offers incentives at the call center where she works. How the job turns Farhana's life upside down is the crux of the story.
Nelson Venkatesan, who directed the films 'Orunaal Koothu' and 'Monster', has this time portrayed the dangers of online communication with strangers and the importance of speaking from one's heart through a woman from a Muslim family.
Brilliant Dialogues
The film chronicles the daily life of a Muslim woman entering the cramped quarters of the Chennai Icehouse, a predominantly Muslim community, and the lines drawn around her. Also, it is the magical dialogues of writer Manushyaputran, Shankar Das, Nelson Dilipkumar that keeps Aishwarya Rajesh's entire conversation with Selvaraghavan in a poetic way.
Although the first half of Farhana moves slowly, it keeps the audience hooked. It beautifully captures that every day of the main character ends up within the walls of that house. Likewise, the wonder of the outside world when she goes to work for the first time is beautifully captured.
