Gautami Files Police Complaint Against Alagappan: Actress Gautami has lodged a complaint with the Chennai Metropolitan Police Department that construction company president Alagappan cheated on her hard-earned property of Rs 25 crore.

In this case, Gautami who came to the Chennai City Police Commissioner's office said that Alagappan, the head of a construction company, cheated her of property worth 25 crore rupees. "Since I was 17 years old, I have acted in more than 125 films. In 2004 I was diagnosed with cancer. So I took a short break from cinema.

Alagappan Forged Gautami's Signature?

Then I bought 46 acres of land in Sriperumbudur with my hard earned money. Currently the value of the place is 25 crores. I decided to sell the place in Sriperumbudur for my family needs and medical treatment. So I contacted Alagappan, the head of the construction company, and asked him to help me in selling my land.

I gave power of attorney to Alagappan for selling my land. During that time he got me to sign several papers. Alagappan sold my agricultural land for Rs 4 crore and gave me only Rs 62 lakh. Alagappan also forged my signature and committed fraud by stealing 8 acres of my land. I faced death threats when I asked about this."

Gautami has said in the complaint that appropriate action should be taken against Alagappan and his family to recover her land worth Rs. 25 crores. Gautami's complaint has created a storm on social media.
