Goundamani Appears Extremely Thin In Latest PHOTO; Fans Express Concerns Over His Health

Tamil star Goundamani needs no introduction in Tamil Nadu. With his ability to make viewers laugh with his witty comebacks and hilarious one-liners made him popular as a comedian in Kollywood. After earning a huge fame and an irreplaceable role in the hearts of fame with these roles, Goundamani explored challenging characters. Later, he took a voluntary sabbatical from movies for a very long time.

The actor celebrated his birthday on Thursday and fans and celebrities showered him with wishes on social media. One fan posted photos with Goundamani while wishing him a happy birthday. For those who don't know, Goundamani is all set to make a comeback to the silver screen with the upcoming film Palanisamy Vathiyar, directed by Selva Anbarasan. In the film, Goundamani will be seen play the male lead. Along with him, sensational supporting star Yogi Babu will be seen playing an important role. It is being rumored that Sivakarthikeyan will also be making a cameo appearance in the movie.

Details regarding the rest of the cast members are still kept under wraps. Krishna Kumar, better known by his stage name K, has composed the film's music. The film was officially launched along with a pooja ceremony on January 19. Its shooting started in February.

Apart from Palanisamy Vathiyar, Goundamani will also be seen playing a brief role in Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming movie Maaveeran, which will be released in July this year. Though he will play his first full-fledged role in Palanisamy Vathiyar, Maaveeran will make his first ever on screen appearance in six years.
