Out of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films that have hit the screens so far (May 2023), there are as many as 7 movies from south-India that topped the list. From Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Ranbir Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan are part of the top ten films.
