Story
Based
on
Kalki
Krishnamurthy's
literary
work
by
the
same
name,
Ponniyin
Selvan
charts
the
journey
of
the
Chola
King
Arunmozhi
Varman,
who
later

was
remembered
as
the
Raja
Raja
Chola.
The
first
part
dealt
with
the
introduction
of
the
key
characters
and
how
Arunmozhi
Varman
is
saved
by
a
mysterious
woman
named
'Vooma
Rani.'
