Jailer Audio Launch: THIS Star Of Malayalam Cinema Is Supposed To Play Villain In Rajinikanth's Film; Deets In

The audio launch event of superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited action drama Jailer was held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai and was a grand affair. Fans thronged the venue several thousand to witness the delightful night.

Made by Nelson, Jailer is a Rs 200 Crore film that is going to hit the screens on August 10, 2023. The film's two tracks 'Kavaala' and 'Hukum' are already chartbusters with Anirudh once again giving his best for the superstar.

Among several note-worthy moments, anecdotes, and speeches that lined up the audio release event on July 28th, Rajinikanth's speech about Vinayakan, the film's antagonist has now become a topic on the internet for fans. While Rajini mentioned that they earlier wanted to rope in a really big star for the antagonist's role, the veteran himself doubted if it would be acceptable.

Speaking at the event, Superstar Rajinikanth said, "For the Antagonist character, we thought of a big star in the film industry. He is a very good friend of mine. Nelson asked me whether I can speak to him. I spoke to him and he immediately agreed. Later, I thought he was a big star how can I beat him and all in the film. In a few minutes, Nelson also thought the same, came to me, and told the same." (sic)

According to the buzz, the actor is none other than the superstar of the Malayalam industry, Mammootty. The Twitter account handle of Tinsel Stories stated, "The actor who Superstar Rajinikanth spoke about is none other than Mammootty. Mammootty is now replaced by Vinayan."

Meanwhile, the night also witnessed several beautiful moments including musician Anirudh Ravichander performing for Hukum. Fans shared the picture from the night and captioned it, 'Full concert vibes! 😭🔥smashed it! #Hukum, (sic)."
