Superstar Rajinikanth's latest comedy-action drama Jailer written and directed by Nelson, is the only biggest thing in the south-Indian film industries, if not in India, right now. The movie shattered all the previous records set by the Kollywood industry and is marching ahead without breaks at the box office.

Jailer features Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian, a retired Jailer who lives quite a simple life. After a very long time, Rajinikanth played a unique role in which he poured his heart out. Fans and movie lovers are going gaga over the role and his characterization.

Jailer became an industry hit in Tamil Nadu. The movie surpassed Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 1 & 2, by emerging as the highest-grosser. The movie entered fourth week at the box office.
