On an overall, Jailer is predicted to cross 105 crores in India today. Directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures, the film has received great response from fans. Due to this, the collection of Jailer movie has been rocking the box office since the first day.

Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the film stars Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, Rithu, Mirnaa and many others along with Superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajini's recently released films like Darbar and Annaathae did not get the expected result at the box office collection.
