Superstar Rajinikanth's dark comedy-action thriller Jailer is continuing to set new records and loot the box office with its unprecedented force. Written and directed by Nelson, Jailer gave the much-awaited success for the Thalaivar.
The movie was released in major south-Indian languages on August 10 all over the world to a thumping response. Irrespective of the film's pace, loose screenplay and lack of tight narration for what a thriller is expected to be of, Jailer sprung a surprise with its success.
Jailer Story
Jailer is the story of a retired Muthuvel Pandian, who worked as a Jailer at the Tihar jail. He lives a peaceful life with his family consisting of his son ACP Arjun, wife, daughter-in-law, and grandson. One day, when his son goes missing without a trace, Muthu unleashes his rage until he comes face-to-face with Varman, the deadly gangster involved in smuggling. What happens next? is to be seen on the screen.
Jailer Beats KGF 2 Records In the UAE
The movie is about to cross Rs 400 Crore Gross at the worldwide box office and in the UAE too, the movie made the magic figure, surpassing that of Yash-Prashanth Neel's KGF 2.
