Superstar Rajinikanth's one of the upcoming films by director Nelson is Jailer. The filmmakers are entertaining the fans by keeping them updated with the film's songs.

The first and second songs-'Kaavala' and 'Hukum' are already trending on YouTube. Actors from all the biggest film industries are roped in for prominent roles in the movie. The movie began as Thalaivar 169 and the title was announced as Jailer.

The filming of Jailer began in August 2022 and it was wrapped up in June 2023. The movie carries high expectations as it is featuring Rajinikanth; directed by Nelson.

Jailer Plot/ Synopsis Revealed!

According to the available information, Jailer is the story of the protagonist who stands up to the occasion when in need. A gang tries to rescue their leader from the prison. When a problem shows up, Jailer sets off to deal with them all.

Meanwhile, as the tweet went viral, fans of the superstar and netizens reacted to it saying that the movie looks similar to Karthi's 'Khaithi' movie and also compared it to Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast.'

Jailer Release Date

The movie will hit the screens on August 10. The movie's dubbed versions will be released at a time in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam as well.

The film is written and directed by Nelson. Kalanithi Maran produced the movie under the Sun Pictures banner on a budget of about Rs 200 Crore. Vijay Karthik Kannan cranked the camera and Anirudh Ravichander composed the film's entire soundtrack and music. R Nirmal handled the camera.
