Vinayakan says in a recent interview to a popular YouTube channel, "Varman has received an acceptance that I never expected. Acting in Jailer is a great opportunity for me." The actor also responded to questions about the remuneration he received for the film Jailer.

"Biggest hit of my life. All this is a blessing. Director Nelson and the audience are happy. It took me 20 years to settle. I was living as Varman in Jailer for an year. There is no other character in which I immersed myself for so long. Some people will be unhappy about me getting such a visiblity. Sometimes my color is the problem for them, sometimes it is caste.

Vinayakan's Jailer Salary Is Not 35 Lakhs

Even though I got so much money, some people couldn't accept me. My salary in Jailer is not Rs 35 lakhs. I got double the amount. Some people spreads rumor because they couldn't bear that I got so much money. They all think that Vinayakan should not get so much. They took me to shooting locations like gold. That's enough for me. If I am getting a proper salary for the work I have done, that is enough. Let people say something.
