Japan Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Karthi's Heist Comedy Drama Hangs In There; Numbers Decrease
Actor Karthi's latest film Japan, written and directed by Raju Murugan hit the screens amid decent expectations on November 10 for the Diwali weekend. The movie which has an interesting storyline about a gold burglar opened to good hype.
However, Japan couldn't live up to the expectations of the box office in Tamil and Telugu. The movie was released alongside Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda DoubleX, and the collections were divided.
Japan Movie Premise
Japan is a notorious thief who steals jewelry worth Rs 200 Crore at a store. This event kick-starts a cat-and-mouse chase between the cops and Japan.
Japan Box Office Collection Prediction
On its opening day, Karthi's Japan is expected to earn about Rs 6 Crore from all languages and regions in India, according to Sacnilk with an occupancy ratio of 21.33% for the morning shows. However, it didn't reach the expected target. In addition, the movie's collection kept decreasing.

The movie is a production venture of Dream Warrior Pictures helmed by SR Prabhu. Raju Murugan wrote and directed the movie. GV Prakash Kumar worked as the film's entire sound and music composer. Philomin Raj and Ravi Varman worked as Japan's editor and cinematographer, respectively.
