Japan is the latest crime-comedy drama starring Karthi, helmed by Raju Murugan. The movie in which the versatile actor plays the title role is ready to hit the screens worldwide for Diwali this year.

Japan's teaser which was released a couple of weeks ago was a success and fans of the actor are happy with the outcome. Japan marks another collaboration between the actor and the producers. The movie Japan is special for Karthi as it is his 25th film as an actor.

Japan Movie Premise

Japan is a notorious thief who steals jewelry worth Rs 200 Crore at a store. This event kick-starts a cat-and-mouse chase between the cops and Japan.

Japan Theatrical Trailer

The makers of the film are going to unveil the theatrical trailer in Japan on October 28, as they plan to release the movie for Deepavali, in the second week of November. The trailer will be launched during the audio release event that is going to be held in Chennai tonight.

The movie is a production venture of Dream Warrior Pictures helmed by SR Prabhu. Raju Murugan wrote and directed the movie. GV Prakash Kumar worked as the film's entire sound and music composer. Philomin Raj and Ravi Varman worked as Japan's editor and cinematographer, respectively.
