Director Atlee, who has given a series of hits in Tamil cinema starring Vijay, is now making his Hindi debut by directing Jawaan starring Shah Rukh Khan. While the film features South Indian stars including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Yogibabu in prominent roles, Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is also making his debut in Hindi with Jawan.

In such a situation, reports about advance ticket booking for Jawan in Tamil Nadu is gaining attention because of director Atlee. Though Atlee faced many controversies about his previous films, he proved his mettle at the box office with all of his films turning out to be blockbusters.

As per reports the film is expected to collect a 9 digit number on its opening day due to the extraordinary ticket booking speed. According to some stong sources, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has collected more than Rs. 50 lakhs in the advance ticket booking for Chennai region alone. The film is also said to have collected Rs. 10 lakhs in Madurai, Rs. 15 lakhs in Coimbatore and Rs. 7 lakhs in Trichy regions so far.
