Kanguva Glimpse: Suriya's Periodic Thriller Sets A Smashing Record; Sits At Top Third Place For THIS REASON

Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga, starring Suriya, is trending all over after the makers of the film released an exciting glimpse on the eve of the actor's birthday. Directed by Siva, the movie is a period-action drama film, which is said to be the fifth most expensive Indian film to date.

Kanguva is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 Crore. The movie will be made in 2D and 3D formats and will likely hit the screens in the first half of 2024.

Kanguva's Premise

In this highly anticipated periodic film, Suriya will be seen in five different roles- Arathar, Venkaater, Mandaankar, Mukaatar, and Perumanathar. This action drama is written by Adi Narayana and directed by Siva.

Kanguva Glimpse 24 Hours Record

Within a day of its release on the video streaming platform YouTube, Suriya's Kanguva Glimpse earned 685.9 K likes and garnered about 20.77 Million views, which is the all-time top third position, as per T2BLive.com.

Kanguva is shot on elaborate sets and at locations in Chennai, Goa, Kerala, and Kodaikanal. The project was originally announced in April 2019 under the working title of Suriya 39. The pre-production works began in January 2021. However, it was delayed after Siva went on to direct Annaatthe, and Suriya was busy with Soorarai Pottru.

This Suriya film stars Bollywood actor Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravi Kumar, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and BS Avinash among other in pivotal characters.

The movie is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati under the Studio Green and UV Creations banners.
