Kannada Actor Chetan Kumar Arrested For 'Objectionable' Facebook Post On Hindutva

Actor Chetan Kumar has been arrested for posting 'objectional' Facebook post about Hindutva. Seshadripuram police arrested the actor and produced him before the Magistrate Court. A case has been registered against the actor under IPC section 295A 505B.

A pro-Hindu organization had filed a complaint regarding actor Chetan's post. So it is reported that the police have arrested the actor. Actor Chetan is always in the news with his direct words. Talking about the Uri Gowda, Nanjegowda controversy, actor Chetan posted his opinion on his official Facebook page yesterday (March 20, 2023).

He posted that "Hinduism is built on lies. Savarkar's statement about the birth of India, Babri Masjid was the birth place of Ram and now Uri Gowda - Nanjegowda killed Tipu" is all false. A person named Shivakumar had filed a complaint against Chetan in this regard.
