Kerala Story Creates New Controversy: It has been reported that a college management in Karnataka ordered all the girl students to leave the afternoon classes and watch the controversial film 'The Kerala Story'.

The movie 'The Kerala Story' was released across the country on May 5 despite the opposition of many political parties. The film shows how women are forcibly converted and recruited by the terrorist organizations. This movie is written and directed by Sudipto Sen starring actress Adah Sharma in the lead role.

Meanwhile, the West Bengal government banned the film citing law and order. But as the Supreme Court dismissed the case last week, the film was released despite the opposition.

Sri Vijay Mahandesh Ayurvedic Medical College is located in Ilgal, Bagalkot District, Karnataka. It is reported that yesterday (May 24, 2023), the college management ordered all the girl students to leave their afternoon classes and forced them to watch the controversial film 'The Kerala Story'. This incident has created a stir now.

Regarding this, in the announcement issued by the principal of the college, Dr. KC Das, on May 23rd, "Tomorrow (May 24th) at Srinivas Talkies from 12 noon, all Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (PAMS) students will watch 'The Kerala Story' movie. It is arranged to watch the movie for free. The afternoon classes are being canceled so all students must watch the film."

The also commented that poilitical parties like BJP are supporting the film and booking tickets in bulk.
