Kovai Guna rose to fame with the show 'Asatha Povadhu Yaaru' which was aired on a popular private television. He attracted fans with his unique body language. He also acted in the film 'Chennai Kadhal'. He is the title winner in the show 'Kalakap Povadhu Yaaru' show and is famous for mimicking the voices of actors like Gowndamani, Radharavi, Shivaji. Guna, especially, imitates the voice of actor Janakaraj on a perfect scale.
