Lal Salaam is superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The movie is against the backdrop of Cricket, reportedly.

Fans are excited about the collaboration of the daughter and father. Aishwarya already proved her mettle with Dhanush-Shruti Haasan's poignant musical love story '3' which was released to a positive response back in 2012. She then made Vai Raja Vai, and a documentary titled Cinema Veeran. Aishwarya is exuding confidence in Lal Salaam.

The film's director Aishwarya recently tweeted that Thalaivar Rajinikanth finished dubbing for his part in Lal Salaam and the movie is in its post-production phase.

Lal Salaam Release Date

The movie is slated for a mammoth-sized grand theatrical release on December 8, 2023. After the gigantic success of Jailer and the announcement of the two craziest projects with TG Gnanavel and Lokesh Kanagaraj, expectations for Lal Salaam are only sky-high.

Superstar Rajinikanth's Remuneration For Lal Salaam

The veteran is reportedly charged about Rs 40 Crore as remuneration for playing the role of Moideen Bhai in Laal Salaam, reportedly. For Jailer, the actor received a remuneration of Rs 110 Crore. After its humongous success, producer Kalanithi Maran handed over another cheque for Rs 100 Crore, as bonus. A total of Rs 210 Crore was received as his remuneration for Jailer. His fee for Lal Salaam surprised many and shocked a few.

Lal Salaam Cast

Along with superstar Rajinikanth who plays the role of Moideen Bhai, the movie stars Nirosha as Moideen's wife, and Jeevitha Rajashekar as Moideen's sister. In addition, the cast includes Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Tiger Garden Thangadurai, Senthil, Jay Parashar, and Thambi Ramaiah among others in prominent roles. Legendary Kapil Dev will appear in a cameo.

Lal Salaam Crew

Rajinikanth's elder daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth is the writer and director of the film. The film has music and background score by legendary AR Rahman. Vishnu Ramasamy cranked the camera, and B Pravin Baaskar worked as its editor. Ramu Thangaraj headed the Department of Art Director. Subaskaran Allirajah produced the movie on a massive budget under his Lyca Productions banner.
