Leo Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Vijay’s Film Sees Massive Drop On 1st Monday As It Crosses 200Cr

Thalapathy Vijay's recent release Leo has emerged as a giant storm at the box office. This Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, which is the recent entry in Lokesh Cinematic Univer (LUC), has been one of the most anticipated action thrillers of the year and comes with a stellar cast of Vijay, Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. However, despite a massive buzz around the movie, Leo has failed to create an impact at the audience.

And though Leo has opened to mixed reviews, it is going strong at the box office. After a phenomenal opening at the box office, Leo has managed to have an impressive opening weekend. And now, it has managed to pass the crucial Monday test as well. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Leo has managed to cross Rs 200 crores mark in 5 days of release.

Reportedly, Leo will be witnessing a massive drop in collections today (day 5/first Monday) and will be minting Rs 25.81 crores at the box office. If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 207.76 crores. It is evident that Leo is continuing its winning run at the box office and is likely to cross more milestones in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Leo has already created history by becoming the fastest movie to cross Rs 100 crores in Tamil Nadu. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in TN within just 3 days of release. Interestingly, Leo has managed to beat Ponniyin Selvan 1 which earlier held the record of crossing Rs 100 crores in 5 days of release.

Earlier, talking about this much anticipated Thalapthy Vijay starrer action thriller, Lokesh Kanagraj said, "Leo is a very special film for me. I have tried something experimental.
