Leo Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 6: Thalapathy Vijay’s Film Mints 506Cr; Creates History Globally

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. And given the substantial buzz around the movie, this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial has been doing wonders at the box office. Also starring Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand in the lead, Leo has opened to mixed reviews from the audience.

And after a phenomenal start at the box office, Leo has been going strong with every day. Post a start with Rs 64.8 crores, Leo has been grabbing eyeballs across the world. Interestingly, this Thalapathy Vijay starrer has managed to cross Rs 500 crore across the world and has even created history globally.

Reportedly, Leo has earned Rs 506.4 crores worldwide within six days of release. To note, Leo has created a record of becoming the fastest Tamil movie to achieve the milestone globally. Meanwhile, Leo has been going strong at the Indian box office as well and has crossed the Rs 260 crores mark. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Leo will be witnessing a drop of over 53% in the collections on day 7 (first Wednesday). Reportedly, Leo will be minting Rs 13 crores today which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 262.55 crores.

Meanwhile, Leo has already created history by becoming the fastest movie to cross Rs 100 crores in Tamil Nadu. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in TN within just 3 days of release. Interestingly, Leo has managed to beat Ponniyin Selvan 1 which earlier held the record of crossing Rs 100 crores in 5 days of release. To note, Leo was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi language and marked Thalapathy Vijay's second collaboration with Lokesh Kanangaraj after Master.
