LEO Advance Ticket Bookings: Thalapathy Vijay-Lokesh's Action Film Set To Cross Whopping Rs 100 Crore Globally
Thalapathy Vijay's most prestigious and much-awaited action thriller LEO, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is gearing up for the humongous release worldwide. The movie, whose pre-release business was closed even before going on the sets, is now establishing numerous records in advance bookings, overseas.
LEO brings together Lokesh and Vijay again and Trisha with Vijay after 14 years as a lead pair. Fans of the trio are excited about the movie and cannot wait for October 19.
Overall, Leo's advance bookings in India have already minted Rs 40 Crore on October 15. The worldwide collection from the advance ticket sales was Rs 90 Crore till yesterday. By the end of the day (October 16), Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay are about to set a superb record by crossing Rs 100 Crore globally.

In Kerala, Vijay's film is set to open on an unprecedented note. The craze and fan frenzy are incomprehensible as people are thronging theatres in hundreds to grab tickets for the earliest show available. The movie's advance ticket sales have already crossed Odiyan, Marakkar, and KGF 2. The movie is also poised to cross the day 1 box office collection of KGF 2, in Kerala, which is a record in itself. In the Malayalam-speaking state, Leo's advance bookings had already crossed Rs 6 Crore.

Along with Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha as the lead characters, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Denzil Smith, Anurag Kashyap, Madonna Sebastian, and Iyal among others in key roles. Late Manobala will be seen in the film, which will be his last appearance.

Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy co-wrote the movie along with the director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film's music and Manoj Paramahamsa worked as the cinematographer. Philomin Raj took charge of Leo's editing.
