LEO Advance Ticket Bookings USA: Thalapathy Vijay's Film To Cross USD 1.5 Million Even Before Its Release

Thalapathy Vijay's fans are gripped with excitement and fever about his latest and upcoming film LEO, written and directed by none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj. LEO is hitting screens worldwide on October 19 to an enthusiastic reception.

The movie is special for the actor's fans because of a couple of reasons which include his collaboration with the director, and actress Trisha. The favourite onscreen couple has come together after about 14 years.

LEO Premise

A cafe owner becomes a local hero but his actions bring forth unimaginable consequences from a dangerous underworld that can shake his entire life from its roots.

LEO On An Advance Ticket Bookings Rampage In The USA

Leo is breaking the advance bookings records in the USA. Probably, Thalapathy Vijay's LEO is the only film that started creating buzz at the overseas box office counters six weeks before its theatrical release. The movie sold over 10,000 tickets in 24 hours in the UK, when they were opened six weeks ago. Ever since the movie's premiere sales have spread like wildfire in the overseas markets including the Gulf.

As per the latest update, the USA box office sales are highly impressive with over 40,700 tickets (at the time of writing the report) being sold already, making a sum of $900K. If the rampage continues, LEO will effortlessly manage to cross the USD 1.5 million milestone before the release itself.

Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Kiran Rathore, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, George Maryan, and Abhirami Venkatachalam among others in prominent roles.

Leo is produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of about Rs 300 Crore. Philomin Raj and Manoj Paramahamsa are working as the film's editor and cinematographer. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the entire film's soundtrack and music.
