Thalapathy
Vijay
has
all
the
reasons
to
be
on
cloud
nine
and
rightfully
so.
After
all,
his
recent
release
Leo
has
emerged
as
one
of
the
biggest
box
office
hits
of
the
year.
Directed
by
Lokesh
Kanagaraj,
the
movie
features
Trisha
Krishnan
as
the
female
lead
and
Sanjay
Dutt
as
the
lead
antagonist.
It
has
been
the
recent
entry
in
the
Lokesh
Cinematic
Universe
(LCU)
and
has
been
ruling
the
box
office
since
the
first
day.
And
as
Leo
has
entered
the
third
week
of
release,
it
continues
with
its
winning
streak
at
the
box
office.
After
a
phenomenal
start
at
the
box
office
with
Rs
64.8
crores,
it
has
been
touching
new
milestones
almost
every
day.
For
the
uninitiated,
Leo
was
released
in
Tamil,
Telugu,
Kannada
and
Hindi
languages.
As
per
a
recent
update,
Leo
has
now
made
headlines
for
crossing
another
milestone
in
Tamil
Nadu.
The
movie
which
has
been
creating
a
massive
buzz
in
the
town
has
reported
crossed
the
Rs

crores
mark
in
Tamil

today.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
it
had
crossed
Rs
198.65
crores

Interestingly,
Leo
is
enjoying
a
successful
run
all
over
the
country
and
has
managed
to
cross
Rs
300
crore
mark
in
the
second
week.
#Leo
has
also
achieved
200cr
gross
in
Tamil
Nadu.
What
a
remarkable
achievement
as
most
of
the
Tamil
films
don’t
even
achieve
200cr
globally!

the
movie

322.75
crores.
Meanwhile,
Leo
has
been
thriving
at
the
worldwide
box
office
as
well.
After
all,
it
has
managed
to
cross
Rs
500
crores

within
six
days
of

Rs
506.4
crores
in
six
days
worldwide
and
has
emerged
as
the

Earlier,
talking
about
this
much
anticipated
Thalapthy
Vijay
starrer
action
thriller,
Lokesh
Kanagraj
said,
"Leo
is
a
very
special
film
for
me.
I
have
tried
something
experimental.
I
have
no
words
to
describe
the
amount
of
work
that
Vijay
Anna
put
in
for
this
movie.
And
I
am
eager
to
show
everything
to
the
audience".
