Leo Box Office Collection Day 20: Vijay’s To Earn Lowest Number On 3rd Tuesday As It Inches Towards 335Cr

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo has been witnessing an impressive run at the box office. Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie also features Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt and has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. Despite average reviews from the audience, Leo has been enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office with several records to its name.

And now, as all eyes have been on Leo for its collection during the Diwali weekend, the action thriller seems to be losing its momentum and is slowing down in the third week. Yes! After crossing the Rs 330 crores mark, Leo will be seen losing its grip and will be earning its lowest collection ever.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Leo will be seen earning Rs 1.1 crores today (day 20/third Tuesday) at the box office which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 332.2 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, Leo has failed to beat Rajinikanth's Jailer with a huge gap. For the uninitiated, Jailer had minted Rs 3.45 crores on its day 20 (third Tuesday).

On the other hand, Leo has been thriving at the worldwide box office as well. After all, it has managed to cross Rs 500 crores mark within six days of release. Reportedly, the movie has earned Rs 506.4 crores in six days worldwide and has emerged as the fastest Tamil film to achieve the milestone. In fact, it is expected to cross Rs 600 crores mark at the worldwide box office in the coming days. Earlier, talking about this much anticipated Thalapthy Vijay starrer action thriller, Lokesh Kanagraj said, "Leo is a very special film for me. I have tried something experimental. I have no words to describe the amount of work that Vijay Anna put in for this movie. And I am eager to show everything to the audience".

Meanwhile, Leo is all set to premiere on OTT platform in 10 days now. According to a report published in India.Com, Leo which was set to release on Netflix on November 21, has now been preponed for release. Reportedly, it will now be premiering on Nover 16. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard so far.
