Leo Pre-Release Business: Thalapathy Vijay-Trisha's Upcoming Film With Lokesh Kanagaraj Cracks A Huge Deal!
The theatrical, music, digital release, and satellite rights of the movie were sold away for a whopping Rs 400 Crore. It is learned that OTT giant Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights of the film.
Thalapathy Vijay, who was last seen in the Pongal season as Varisu, his first bilingual film marking his Telugu debut, is already shooting for his upcoming movie with none other than director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The maverick director collaborated with the actor for the second time after Master. The title announcement of Leo sent the fans of the actor and director into a frenzy, who are now prowling for updates to keep track of it.
Titled Leo, the movie has already elevated the expectations of the film for more than one reason. While Thalapathy Vijay is the utmost big reason for the buzz around Leo, director Lokesh Kanagaraj rose to international fame and acclaim through his last, Vikram with Kamal Haasan.
After delivering back-to-back box office commercial successes, the actor and director duo is all kicked about the project Leo. In this film, the evergreen combination of Trisha and Vijay is realized after more than a decade. The film's unit is currently happening in Kashmir.

It is learned that OTT giant Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights of the film in all southern languages. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.
Leo is an action-thriller and the movie stars veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, action king Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, writer-actor-directors- Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Manobala, Sandy master, Janany Kunaseelan, and Mansoor Ali Khan among others playing crucial roles. The makers of Leo want to release the movie all over the world on October 19 this year.
Leo's story is written by Lokesh along with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The cinematography and editing of the film are handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj respectively. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the entire soundtrack and music for Leo. SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy are bankrolling the movie under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of Rs 200 Crore.
