The trailer of the much-hyped and awaited movie from the epic combination of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's LEO was finally released on October 5 amid huge fanfare. The movie's theatrical trailer, as usual, went on to create several records on YouTube and social media platforms.

LEO marks the collaboration of not only Trisha and Vijay after 12 years but also of Vijay and director Lokesh. There are sky-high expectations for the film due to the abovementioned reasons. In addition, LEO will be released for the Dussehra festival, making it even more special. The trailer only amplified the expectations, and fans are eager for its release.

However, as much as the trailer is action-packed with scintillating looks and action sequences performed by Vijay, fans are a bit confused about the characterizations. A section of them opined that the trailer didn't showcase certain dots that could've allowed them to connect.

Details That Went Unnoticed In Leo's Trailer

The 2-minute 43-second trailer has been packed with only action for about 2 minutes. At the beginning of the trailer, Sandy Master's character is introduced as a serial killer, his mouth covered in blood. The hyena from the fight also has blood in its mouth. Fans now wonder if Sandy Master played the younger version of Sanjay Dutt, or if it is Arjun Sarja's character. They both are shown chasing Vijay's character in the trailer. The depiction indicates that the director showcased the antagonist as a rabid animal.

Does Trisha's Character Die In LEO?

The trailer showcases a set where LEO retreats and lives a peaceful life with his daughter, in the woods. The gloomy effects and his look, everything suggests that he has lost his wife.

Vijay Plays A Dual Role?
In a dialogue with his wife, Vijay's character speaks to Trisha about being like someone whom the antagonists are chasing. Is it a play or does Vijay play a dual role? In another scene, the same Vijay wields a dagger and shakes the bar. The answer to this will be out only on October 19.

Is There A Drug Background In LEO Too?

Lokesh Kanagaraj's films deal with drugs in the undercurrent. Why Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja's characters are behind Vijay's Leo Das character? Is there a connection with drugs?

Will LEO Have A Sequel?

Director Loki also kind of hinted at the end of the trailer about LEO's possible sequel. The character played by Gautham Menon prompts, "Leo says he wants to come back alive."

Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Kiran Rathore, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, George Maryan, and Abhirami Venkatachalam among others in prominent roles.

Leo is produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of about Rs 300 Crore. Philomin Raj and Manoj Paramahamsa are working as the film's editor and cinematographer. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the entire film's soundtrack and music.
