LEO USA Premiere Advance Sales: Thalapathy Vijay's Film Is Releasing Over 1000 Screens Across 402 Locations

Leo, Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming intense action-thriller co-written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is the biggest thing right now, in the entertainment industry. The movie enjoys exponential craze and carries mammoth-like expectations for its sheer casting and crew.

There are just nine days for the movie to hit the silver screen worldwide amid sky-high expectations. The movie began setting records ever since it was announced. Leo's pre-release business deal, satellite, digital streaming, and audio rights have been bought for more than Rs 250 Crore, even before the film's shooting began.

Later, from the title reveal to the teaser and now recently the trailer, every promotional material that was released by the Leo team enthralled the fans. Probably, Leo is the first movie ever, to have set a record of selling out more than 10,000 tickets in 24 hours across the UK, two months before the release date.

Going by the latest available information, Thalapathy Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's LEO will have a humongous opening in the USA. The movie already churned out $690,320 in revenue from as many as 30190 tickets that were sold. The movie will be released in 402 locations and with over 1,000 shows.

Leo Cast

Along with Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha as the lead characters, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Denzil Smith, Anurag Kashyap, Madonna Sebastian, and Iyal among others in key roles. Late Manobala will be seen in the film, which will be his last appearance.

The movie is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of about Rs 300 Crore. Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy co-wrote the movie along with the director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film's music and Manoj Paramahamsa worked as the cinematographer. Philomin Raj took charge of Leo's editing.
