List Of Films Releasing In Theatres This Week: Santhanam starrer DD Returns released last week and it is running successfully all over Tamil Nadu. As Rajinikanth's Jailer release date is announced as August 10, many producers are not ready to take risk by releasing their movies this week.

DD Returns is a comeback film for Santhanam. The film has received good reviews and it is doing well at the box office. On the other hand LGM starring Harish Kalyan, Ivana and produced by Dhoni Entertainment failed miserably at the box office.

Natty's Web With Karthick Raja's Music

In such a situation, only a few films are slated to hit the screens this week. Web directed by debutant Haroon is one among them. Natty Natraj and Shilpa Manjunath have acted in the film. Also, Mottai Rajendran, Shashvi Bala, Subhapiriya, Murali Radhakrishnan, Ananya Mani and others have played important roles.

The film is produced by VM Munivelan under Velan Productions and Karthik Raja has composed the music. The film is slated to hit the theaters this Friday.

Harikumar's Saandrithazh

Harikumar who acted in the movie Madurai Sambavam has acted in the movie named Saandrithazh. Karuvarai village is an example of an ideal village. Taking note of this, the government announces an award to the village. But as the villagers refused the award, there was a conflict between the villagers and the ministers. This village-based film is also slated to release on August 4.

Vijay Antony starrer Picchaikaran 2 was a blockbuster hit in Telugu. As Vijay Antony has become the favorite actor of Telugu fans with this movie, his Tamil movie Thamilarasan is dubbed and releasing in Telugu as Vikram Rathod on Friday.

Vineeth's Malayalam Film Nila

Directed by Indu Lakshmi, Nila is a Malayalam movie starring Shanthi Krishna and Vineeth. A mystery film revolving around a bedridden mother and her son. The film is slated to hit theaters on August 4.
